ASI Government Vice President Wins 2017 Federal 100 Award

ARLINGTON, Va. – February 7, 2017 – ASI Government congratulates Vice President for Civilian Business Development Ann-Marie Johnson on her 2017 Federal 100 award.

The Federal 100 awards, bestowed by FCW magazine, honor government, industry and academic leaders who have gone above and beyond to make a real difference in the way technology was bought, managed and used in the federal IT community.

Ms. Johnson was honored for her leadership of the Acquisition Transformation Project of the American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council. Her many accomplishments include co-delivering the project’s testimony before the Section 809 Panel to streamline Department of Defense procurement, serving as Category Management Track Co-Chair for the 2016 Acquisition Excellence Conference and helping to institutionalize and bolster the achievements of the government-led Acquisition of the Future movement.

“We’re proud of Ann-Marie’s 2017 Fed100 award, especially because it demonstrates ASI Government’s commitment to serving the federal community and delivering value to American citizens by making acquisition a powerful lever for achieving program and mission goals,” said Tim Cooke, ASI CEO. “Ann-Marie is continuing her selfless dedication to this work as she supports the Co-Chairs of the 2017 Acquisition Excellence Conference and builds on the success of acquisition transformation in the New Year.”

“I’m confident we’ll see federal IT continue to be central to making government work better,” FCW Editor-in-Chief Troy K. Schneider said. “And as winners like Ann-Marie Johnson make clear, there’s a deep pool of exceptional talent in our community devoted to exactly that.”

Ms. Johnson became leader of the Acquisition Transformation Project in December 2015. She joined ASI Government in August 2015 and leads business development for civilian agencies. Previously, at Computer Sciences Corporation, she worked on IRS tax modernization, managed the GSA Alliant contract, and co-created a climate and energy practice. She began her career as a Government Accountability Office Evaluator.

Federal 100 honorees are selected by an independent judging panel of government and industry executives. The winners will be profiled in the March 30 issue of FCW, and celebrated in person at the Federal 100 Gala on March 30th at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC.
