Director, Strategic Initiatives & Communications
Anne joined ASI as Director of Strategic Initiatives addressing federal acquisition transformation. She serves the company and its customers as a key subject matter expert in strategy, strategic communications, category management and market research.
Anne has been a leading analyst and award-winning editor and commentator on federal management for more than 30 years. Her extensive career includes serving as director of analysts in aerospace, defense, information technology and federal business intelligence for Bloomberg Government; Director of the CGI Federal Institute for Collaborative Government; Executive Editor of Government Executive magazine and Senior Editor of Federal News.
Anne is a well-known and respected writer and speaker, who has specialized in examining and explaining acquisition and technology issues for federal leaders and managers. She has surfed the tides of decades of acquisition reform and is a founding member of the Acquisition of the Future movement. Anne also is on the leadership team of the Acquisition Transformation Project of the ACT-IAC Acquisition Community of Interest.
Anne is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and recipient of two research grants from the IBM Center for the Business of Government. She holds a Master’s from the Johns Hopkins University School of International Studies and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
